Audience: This training targets new healthcare workers including nurses, medical assistants, doctors, and administrative staff at Health X. These workers include males and females aged 20-45. Learners have a basic understanding of their healthcare role and general understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Learners have basic knowledge of handwashing, sanitation, and contamination prevention along with familiarity with gloves, masks, and other protective gear.
Business Problem: Lack of employee awareness and proper training on bloodborne pathogens increases the risk of workplace exposure incidents, leading to potential health hazards, non-compliance with OSHA regulations, legal liabilities, and financial losses due to fines and worker compensation claims.
Solution: All employees are well-trained in bloodborne pathogen prevention, exposure response, and compliance requirements. The organization maintains full OSHA compliance, reduces workplace incidents, minimizes liability, and fosters a culture of safety. Proper training and safety measures lead to fewer exposure incidents, lower costs, and improved employee confidence in workplace health practices.
Sample Highlights: Branching scenario-based interactions, tab interactions, accordion interactions, learner feedback in knowledge checks
Design Process: My design process begins with meeting with key stakeholders to determine the business problem, audience, and solution. Using the ADDIE model and input from SMEs, training is outlined and presented to stakeholders in the form of a design document. Kirkpatrick's Level 2 evaluations will be listed here in the form of knowledge checks and summative performance based assessments. After feedback is implemented and approved, I create a storyboard that includes what each specific slide will contain, including the visual display, slide text, voiceover/narration, and course interactivity. Kirkpatrick's Level 3 evaluations will be used 3 months after training, the supervisor will observe new employees during routine cleanings and tasks where they may encounter bloodborne pathogens or OPIM. Then supervisors will take a survey about bloodborne pathogen exposure reports and their observations.

Deliverables:
Audience: Boutique store sales associates that interact with customers on a daily basis.
Business Problem: There is a noticeable variation in how employees interact with customers, leading to inconsistent customer experiences. Without standardized customer service practices, the store is unable to fully capitalize on customer interactions to drive higher sales and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Solution: All employees demonstrate consistent customer service experiences through strong communication and product knowledge. They actively listen, show empathy, and utilize upselling techniques; along with conflict resolution techniques as needed.
